Production Manager

Our client is looking for a Production Manager for his facilities located in the West Island of Montreal.

 

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record as Production Manager in the fabrication of automation machinery or in a similar position.

 

Responsibilities :

 

Oversee Production Process,

Assess project and resource needs,

Ensuring company procedures are being followed,

Organize equipment repair and routine maintenance,

Determine quality control standards,

Ordering and purchasing material and equipment,

Able to meet timeline schedule and delegate projects,

Capable of monitoring work in progress and delivery standards,

Manage personnel efficiently.

 

Qualifications:

 

Over 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Machinery Operations,

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required,

Excellent management skills,

Strong knowledge of manufacturing standards,

Excellent communication skills,

Exceptional Organizational skills,

Proven track record of successfully coaching and training employees in productivity and safety,

Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-to-one basis as well as a group,

Good analytical skills,

Capable of programming Automation Machinery,

Capable of programming Allen Bradley and Omron automation controls.
